Sky Messengers

In the beginning

It all comes down to black and white

12' radius at the arched back

12" on the ballet pointe

Toes to heel

Back stretched arms 62"

The radii of the depths and the heavens

The messengers will note

the acute angle at the knee

Resembling a wing ready to unfurl

Floating between mist and diamonds.

The message will be given

Or taken before the cries echo

Through crystal water.

Frequencies will vary

The message is always the same

Transmission always different

Refracted by the magic,

A thousand voices

Bestow a thousand blessings

Up and down an enchanted ladder

Of reflected starlight.

In the end

it all comes down to

Values of grey

Black and white

Light explaining dark.
